California admission with CLE credit is $10 members, $20 non-members, add $5 for Nevada CLE credit

Presenter: Herbert R. (Dick) Schulze

Dick is Of Counsel in the Reno office of Holland & Hart LLP where he specializes in intellectual property. Prior to joining HH, Dick was a managing counsel in the Bay area for Hewlett-Packard Co. and its successor Agilent Technologies, supervising a staff of attorneys in California, Colorado, Singapore, and Germany. Dick served in the U.S. Air Force as a military lawyer for 5 years (active duty) and 25 years (reserve), retiring as a colonel in 1997. He was licensed in California in 1971 and is also admitted in Nevada, Colorado, South Dakota, and the USPTO. He is a frequent speaker at CLE programs in California, Nevada, and other locations. He is vice president of the Tahoe-Truckee Bar Association and serves on the Board of Covenant House California. He has 2 grown children and 6 grandkids. He resides in Truckee and in his spare moments cruises the USA on his motorcycle and in winter pursues his second career as a snowboard instructor at Northstar California ski resort.
